Tesla will officially activate the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) feature on Cybertruck soon, according to Not a Tesla App, as the company has officially added the feature to its list of features by trim on its website. The ANC feature suddenly appeared on the spec sheet for the Premium All-Wheel-Drive and Cyberbeast trims, which are the two configurations that have been delivered since November 2023.
What might improve its chances of success this year is a new $59,990 Dual Motor All-Wheel Drive base model that loses some features but keeps the dual-motor setup with the same performance as the more expensive $79,990 Premium All-Wheel Drive variant. The new base model does without air suspension, but it still has adaptive dampers, so you can still stiffen or slacken the suspension, but not change the ride height.

It's been joined by a $15,000 price cut for the high-end Cyberbeast variant, as Tesla doubles down on its efforts to turn slow Cybertruck sales around.

Tesla has offered new leasing terms on the Model 3, Model Y, and Cybertruck, cutting lease prices by 23 percent for the Model 3, 15 percent for the Model Y, and 7 percent for the Cybertruck. A video showcasing the complex process of tinting a Cybertruck has left many viewers questioning how much it costs to tint the highly recognizable vehicle. On Sept. 9, TikTok user @therealunclemuuk posted a video showcasing the Cybertruck tinting process, which has amassed over 25,600 views as of Monday. In the video caption, he specified that he had tinted a 61-inch windshield.
"I can't make this up," he writes in a text overlay of the clip, which shows footage taken from his EV. "There's no one on this corner," he says, pointing to one corner of the screen. His post shows two different angles from his car that appear to have been taken at the same exact time. Indeed, the video recorded from the camera located at the front of his car doesn't show anyone standing on the sidewalk or the street.
