Two toddlers were hospitalized in critical condition after being ejected from a vehicle during a collision on Krome Avenue, highlighting the severe danger of car accidents.
According to Lt. Alex Camacho of the Florida Highway Patrol, investigations revealed a Toyota sedan collided with a Mercedes-Benz SUV that failed to yield the right of way.
The crash resulted in the ejection of the toddlers from the Toyota, raising concerns about whether they were properly restrained in car seats at the time of the accident.
Following the incident, Krome Avenue was closed for about two hours to facilitate a thorough preliminary investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol.
