Young man (20s) dies following Co Waterford crash

A serious single vehicle collision occurred on the L1020, Ballycoardra, Old Tramore Road, in Co. Waterford, around 2.20 pm on Saturday. A male occupant in his 20s was pronounced dead at the scene, with his body taken to the morgue for a post-mortem examination. Additionally, two other males in the vehicle were hospitalized with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Following a technical examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators, the road has since reopened, and Gardaí are urging witnesses or anyone with dash-cam footage to come forward with information.
