Chef Zach Engel and partner Andrés Clavero are launching Cafe Yaya, an all-day cafe next to their Michelin-starred restaurant Galit, enhancing the Lincoln Park community.
The cafe will offer morning pastries and an a la carte dinner menu, with future plans for lunch, brunch, and takeout, emphasizing a collaborative spirit.
Cafe Yaya's wine selection will focus on lesser-known regions, featuring wines by the glass curated by Scott Stroemer, marking a departure from Galit’s offerings.
With a diverse dinner menu incorporating French, Jewish, Southern, Middle Eastern, and Midwestern flavors, Cafe Yaya aims to continue Galit's legacy of culinary excellence.
