'Holy Grounds Coffee' employs adults with special needs in South Jersey
"WESTVILLE, New Jersey -- For the last 60 years, St. John of God Community Services has serviced adults with special needs. But as of late, a new opportunity has been brewing within: a job opportunity that all starts with a scoopful of coffee beans. 'Holy Grounds Coffee' began in 2021. It is not a cafe - rather, clients of St. John of God are able to find meaningful work either roasting or packaging coffee for later sale."
"Their coffee bags, proudly printed with their names on the packaging, can be purchased either online or at two local stores. They can be found at the Deptford Grocery Outlet and Sicklerville Grocery Outlet. On 'Coffee Fridays,' the team is able to serve coffee to their fellow clients at St. John of God. Watch the video above to see their hard work in action. To learn more about 'Holy Grounds Coffee,' visit their website."
