Brice Sturmer has been appointed as CEO of coffee roasting equipment maker Sovda, succeeding Chris Romes. Sturmer previously co-founded Velodrome Coffee Company and has been with Sovda since February, serving as global head of service. The company relocated its headquarters from Portland, Oregon, to Bentonville, Arkansas. Sturmer expressed appreciation for the company's commitment to addressing industry challenges. Sovda was founded in 2018 and introduced various coffee equipment, including the Pearl Mini Sorter and other specialized machines for roasteries.
