How Ethereum Whales Use Loops to Leverage Stake Millions in ETH | HackerNoon
Briefly

An empirical evaluation of leverage staking was conducted on Aave, Lido, and Curve platforms. The analysis spanned 963 days, beginning from block 11,473,216. A total of 290,984 staking events on Lido, 449,528 deposit, 238,388 borrow, 336,746 withdraw, and 173,596 repayment events on Aave were documented. Additionally, 105,310 swap events on the Curve stETH-ETH pool were identified. 743 addresses were noted for using stETH as collateral to borrow ETH, highlighting the methodology for detecting leverage staking.
Data collection focused on crawling on-chain events from Aave V2, Lido, and Curve, capturing 290,984 staking events on Lido and over 1.3 million user actions across platforms.
The analysis reveals 743 addresses utilized stETH as collateral to borrow ETH, identifying direct and indirect leverage staking strategies through specific algorithms.
