The creation of the coffee is steeped in lore, featuring a fictional backstory about Blothar the Berserker, linking his sorrow to the coffee plants of Java. The product is crafted to fuel energy before battles, reinforcing the traditional association of Vikings with coffee as a stimulant.
Blothar himself stated: "The best part of getting blackout drunk is Berserker Mode Coffee. Each sip is infused with the bitter sorrow of unrequited love."
