Gallup abruptly retired a day before the start of Raiders training camp last year after signing a one-year contract worth as much as $3 million.
Before Gallup joined the Raiders, he was released by Dallas, where he totaled 266 catches for 3,744 yards and 21 touchdowns over six seasons.
Despite a promising start, injuries hindered Gallup's performance, as he struggled to reclaim his previous form post ACL injury.
