The project is located in the Bavarian Forest and stands isolated from its surroundings without contextual references. The architectural composition centers on two courtyards that bring daylight into the plan and structure the interior experience. Spatial comprehension depends on movement through the building; the full form and intention become legible only when one enters. The project team includes Mikael Olsson with 16 collaborators, including Alexander Muhlbauer and Lukas Westner. Landscape architecture contribution came from Prof. Maurus Schifferli and artist participation from Hans Sailer. The courtyards act as primary organizing devices and sources of natural light.
