Patricia Urquiola's 'among-us' design installation at Heimtextil transformed Hall 12.0 into an interactive and open space for discussing textiles, sustainability, and creativity. Urquiola collaborated with partners to create a unique landscape featuring lounge islands, hanging textiles made from recycled nylon, and dynamic upholstery. The installation embodies a vision of new hybrid relations and reflects the transformative power of textiles throughout history, aiming to stimulate engagement and personal exchange among visitors at the international trade fair.
The title, among-us, refers to the concept of being together and reflects the intent of the installation to celebrate hybrid new relations.
