Its landscaping was crafted by Hana Eto Gall, conceived through a direct dialogue with the Amazonian landscape."

Casa Pupunha is a compact, efficient residence designed by Laurent Troost Architectures and sited in a condominium in western Manaus adjacent to a permanent environmental protection area. The project preserved existing greenery on the lot, most notably a pupunha palm that occupies the center and remained throughout construction. Landscaping by Hana Eto Gall was conceived through direct dialogue with the Amazonian landscape and integrates native plants around the house. Vegetation becomes an essential component of both the landscape design and the architectural concept. The design emphasizes compactness and efficiency to minimize footprint and protect surrounding ecology.
