Bob Yerkes, Bruised but Durable Hollywood Stuntman, Dies at 92
Briefly

Bob Yerkes, a legendary stunt double known for his fearlessness, performed daring stunts in iconic films and TV shows over a celebrated nearly 70-year career.
In his career, Yerkes flew through the air as Boba Fett in Return of the Jedi, hung from a clock tower in Back to the Future and clung to scaffolding atop the Statue of Liberty.
Jeff Wolfe, president of the Stuntmen's Association of Motion Pictures, praised Yerkes, stating, 'He is one of the few stuntmen I would say have celebrity status in the stunt business. His lack of fear was kind of renowned.'
Reflecting on his health challenges due to numerous concussions, Yerkes remarked in a 2016 video, 'It used to be that when I'd talk, I wouldn't finish a sentence.'
