House Republicans released a video compilation attempting to shift blame for the Jan. 6 Capitol attack from Trump to Nancy Pelosi, despite her condemnation of the violence.
In the newly released footage, Pelosi expresses her frustration with security failures on Jan. 6, blaming a lack of preparedness on both Capitol Police and the Trump administration.
Pelosi also takes responsibility for the security lapses, stating, "I can't believe the stupidity. I take full responsibility," while criticizing the inadequate response to the riot.
In a revealing comment, Pelosi suggested the Capitol Police might have deliberately underprepared, questioning their loyalty and hinting at a connection to Trump sympathizers.
