Man arrested in killing of Too Short's brother now facing weapons charge tied to different slaying
Briefly

Maijji Jackson, arrested last week for the murder of rapper Too Short's brother, remains uncharged in that case while facing serious weapons charges for a subsequent killing a few days later. The Alameda County prosecutors have not yet acted on the earlier murder, which involved Wayne Shaw, killed during a failed burglary. Jackson now faces multiple weapons charges connected to the slaying of Darnell Harvey, and he missed a court date, leading to a bench warrant. Investigators also linked Jackson to an AR-15-style pistol found near Harvey's crime scene.
Jackson was arrested on Feb. 13 in the killing of Too Short's older brother, but has not been charged in that case as of now.
Authorities claim Darnell Harvey, 33, was fatally shot at a house, where investigators found an AR-15-style pistol linked to Jackson.
