Pittsburg is set to develop the Pittsburg Premier Fields at the former Delta View Golf Course site, featuring seven multipurpose fields, a track and field course, and expanded facilities. This project aims to foster economic growth and expand recreational opportunities for residents, especially youth. Construction began in January and includes phases for a multipurpose field and parking. Mayor Jelani Killings emphasized the importance of investing nearly $7 million in such community facilities to boost local tourism and support the economy, alongside the neighboring Dream Courts sports complex.
When you're looking at this project, along with across the street at Dream Courts, nearly $7 million (is) being invested into our youth and our community to let them know that they deserve these types of facilities.
