A black smoke cloud spread over the San Francisco Bay on Mother's Day as a lithium battery fire broke out at the Port of Oakland.

The fire burned for about 90 minutes on Seventh Street. It was fully extinguished by 4:30 p.m., confirmed by the fire department spokesperson Michael Hunt.
