The city has approved a housing proposal for the North Berkeley BART station, planning to build over 700 homes, including 377 affordable units.
Planning Director Jordan Klein noted that the approval was years in the making and symbolizes a significant milestone for long-term projects.
The development will feature 13 buildings, ranging from three to eight stories, along with over 50,000 square feet of open space.
