90% of schools hit by crumbling concrete scandal have not had RAAC removed
Briefly

Nearly 90 percent of schools receiving government support to remove dangerous concrete have not had work carried out, more than a year after the scandal emerged.
Labour education minister Stephen Morgan admitted it could take up to five years to fix the countrywide problem, leaving thousands of students in temporary classrooms.
At least 232 schools are set to receive help through government funding after reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete (RAAC) was discovered amid last autumn's national scandal.
Mr. Morgan stated that only 30 schools have so far had RAAC removed through government grants despite promises of funding by the Conservative government.
