FAFSA Completion Rate Bounces Back to Pre-Pandemic Levels
Briefly

As of June 27, 54 percent of graduating high school seniors completed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), demonstrating a 17.5 percent increase compared to the prior year. The Class of 2025 achieved the highest FAFSA completions on record. Strong completion rates are expected to positively influence fall enrollment. All states reported higher rates than last year, with Oklahoma showing a remarkable increase due to a new state requirement. In terms of completion rates, Tennessee led at 66.2 percent.
