REVEALED: The most oversubscribed primary schools in Havering
Briefly

According to admissions data, Gidea Park Primary School was the most oversubscribed primary in Havering last year, attracting 384 applications for just 60 places.
Other schools, like Nelmes Primary and Scotts Primary, faced similar demands, with four to five applicants for every available place, underscoring the high demand for primary education in the area.
Despite high demand, Havering Council reported that nearly 90% of three- and four-year-olds were offered a place at their first-choice primary school during the 2024 admissions process.
Parents are encouraged to apply for their child's school by the January 15 deadline, selecting up to six preferences, as the council strives to accommodate all children.
