GKids has announced that the hit anime Dan Da Dan will return for its sophomore season in July, with a global theatrical premiere scheduled for June. The new season will pick up where season 1 left off, transitioning from the Cursed House Arc to the Evil Eye Arc, showcasing the teenage characters Momo and Okarun facing a terrifying yokai possession. Co-directors Fuga Yamashiro and Abel Gongora will lead the upcoming season, and the theatrical release will include the first three episodes alongside an interview with the directors. The series is expected to stream on familiar platforms such as Crunchyroll and Netflix in the US.
