Met Eireann forecast balmy temperatures for weekend as sunshine and dry weather to continue

Today will be mostly dry with a mix of clouds and sunshine interspersed with light rain, primarily clearing to reveal brighter conditions. Temperatures will range from 13 to 19°C, warmer in the west. Tonight will see clearer skies with a chance of stray showers and cooling temperatures between 2 and 8°C. The weekend promises dry and sunny weather but with a breeze, and cooling temperatures persisting. Next week is also expected to bring dry conditions with warm days and cooler nights.
This morning will stay largely dry, with a mix of cloud and sunny spells. Meanwhile, some rain and drizzle might be possible in places, along with some mist and hill fog. The rain is set to gradually clear northwestwards, followed by better spells of sunshine developing.
Temperatures today will range between 13 and 19C, staying the warmest in the west, while winds will become fresher at times near coasts.
It will remain the coolest in the east and northeast as temperatures are set to range between 11 and 18C for the weekend.
Met Éireann has forecast that next week will continue to bring dry conditions with plenty of sunshine, and temperatures will gradually increase further during the days.
