The warnings will take effect for counties Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Wicklow, Munster, Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo from 2am until 3pm Sunday.

A further yellow wind warning has been issued for Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo from 3pm Sunday to midnight Sunday night.
