Carlow, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Offaly, Wicklow, Clare, Limerick, Tipperary and Galway are under a thunderstorm warning today from 11am to 8pm.
Expect mostly dry weather with temperatures between 15 and 20C today, while storms may lead to isolated thunder, flooding, and heavy rain in some regions.
Temperatures will drop tonight to between 4 and 10C, after rain clears, leading into a dry, mostly sunny day tomorrow with highs reaching 22C.
Friday morning will begin dry with sunny spells, before becoming cloudier and bringing some rain and drizzle from the west later.
