Robert Falck, the founder and outgoing CEO of Einride, is moving to the role of executive chairman to concentrate on the company's strategic direction, particularly as it seeks to scale operations, raise additional funding, and consider an IPO. Roozbeh Charli, previously the CFO, will assume the CEO role, leveraging his five years of experience building the company's operational success in electric trucking. Einride has been at the forefront of transforming the freight industry with electric and autonomous trucks and has raised over $654 million to date.
"After nearly a decade of building as CEO, it's time to shift my focus to where I can create the most long-term value," Falck said in a statement.
Charli said that he intends to further Falck's mission and help the company scale responsibly beyond its current market.
