Palmeiras keen to sign Barca loanee Roque in Feb.
Briefly

Palmeiras is keen to sign Vitor Roque before the Brazilian transfer window closes on February 28, despite challenges from his current loan at Real Betis. Roque, who joined Barcelona in January 2023 for €35 million, is under contract until 2031 and Barça is only open to offers around €25 million. Even if Palmeiras meets this demand, they must also negotiate with Betis, who have not yet clarified their stance on terminating Roque's loan. The Betis sporting director has indicated that they expect Roque to stay and compete for a starting spot in the team.
There is nothing [in relation to leaving], neither Roque, nor his surroundings, nor Barcelona, with whom we have a very close relationship, nor I as director have said anything about leaving. It is totally false.
Even if Palmeiras were to meet Barça's financial demands, they would still have to convince Betis to cut short Roque's loan.
