We are excited to spotlight the dedication and passion that filmmakers pour into their work. We hope audiences are moved by the stories on screen and inspired to take action in producing their own dreams.
Ever since Kotee founded the festival, it has been a champion of emerging and underrepresented filmmakers, receiving over 1000 yearly film submissions from 60+ countries, drawing thousands of attendees.
This year's festival will feature film screenings, workshops, panels, a Creative Community Day, Youth Film Screenings, stand-up comedy, live bands playing film scores, and an awards ceremony.
Filmmakers can still submit entries for the festival until the extended deadline of August 15 through the festival's website. Tickets and passes are available at www.bushwickfilmfestival.com.
