Milanese Institution Sant Ambroeus Will Open Its First West Coast Location in Beverly Hills

Famed Milanese institution Sant Ambroeus lands on the West Coast for the first time next year. The celebrity-favorite Italian restaurant will open in Beverly Hills in 2026 on the corner of Beverly Drive and Dayton Way, just a block from Rodeo Drive. The first Sant Ambroeus, named after Milan's patron saint, opened in 1936 as an all-day cafe and patisserie. In 1982, the restaurant crossed the Atlantic to open its first stateside location on the Upper East Side in New York.
Sant Ambroeus's Beverly Hills location will be its West Coast flagship and largest location. The standalone building will feature an expansive indoor dining room, patio, two bars, a private dining room, and a separate coffee bar for espresso and pastries. The menu will feature Milanese classics from other locations, including vitello tonnato, pastas made in-house, and cacio e pepe, most of which will use a bounty of California produce.
