Ozzy Osbourne died on July 22, 2025, at 76 years old. He enjoyed many foods including curry, black licorice, carrot cake, Pink Lady apples, and especially Chipotle burritos. He called himself "the Burrito Man" on a 2003 MTV episode of The Osbournes and said he ate two burritos every day. Chipotle made him the first recipient of its Celebrity Card, which grants one free meal per day for a year plus one catering order for up to 50 people. After his death, fans shared Chipotle photos in tribute. Loudwire launched a Change.org petition with over 10,000 signatures asking Chipotle to name a burrito "The Ozzy."
Ozzy Osbourne passed away on July 22, 2025, at the age of 76. And, in addition to his lasting legacy as a rock legend and prolific performer, Osbourne was known for his love of food. In interviews and on "The Osbournes," the Black Sabbath front-man frequently shared his love of curry, black licorice, carrot cake, and Pink Lady apples, but he was downright fanatical about Chipotle burritos.
Osbourne first made his love of Chipotle known during a 2003 episode of the popular MTV reality show that chronicled the adventures and exploits of the rocker and his lovably eccentric family. He proudly declared himself "the Burrito Man," with Osbourne revealing that he ate two burritos every day. In fact, he was so vocal in his support of the beloved fast-food Mexican chain that the company made the "Iron Man" hitmaker the first recipient of its Celebrity Card.
Since 2003, the Celebrity Card has been gifted to plenty of superfans of the brand, granting them one free Chipotle meal per day for one year, as well as one catering order for up to 50 people. While there has yet to be any official confirmation of Osbourne's favorite burrito, fans began sharing photos of their own orders across social media in tribute to the rocker after his death was announced.
Following Ozzy Osbourne's death, rock and heavy metal publication Loudwire started a Change.org petition asking Chipotle to name a burrito after the rock legend, and longtime superfan of the restaurant. The petition, penned by Lauryn Schaffner, a digital producer, social media strategist, and writer at Loudwire, has more than 10,000 signatures at the time of writing. It calls for Chipotle to name a burrito "The Ozzy" in honor of the Black Sabbath
