The Recording Academy has announced that this Sunday's Grammy Awards will feature a special tribute performance honoring the late Ozzy Osbourne. The performance will include Post Malone, along with Guns N' Roses members Slash and Duff McKagan, Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith, and producer Andrew Watt (who helmed the last two Ozzy albums). Trans-Siberian Orchestra paid tribute to Ozzy Osbourne, performing part of Black Sabbath's "Changes" during TSO's tour finale on December 21st in Philadelphia. The group performed the partial cover as part of a mashup with the Savatage song "Sleep." Addressing the audience before the performance, the band dedicated the medley to Ozzy, as well as TSO's late producer, composer, and lyricist Paul O'Neill, who died in 2017. An obscure track that initially wasn't meant for public consumption features the iconic voices of Ozzy Osbourne and Madonna. Ozzy Osbourne died 17 days after his spectacular farewell concert in July, an event that had millions of metalheads in big, beautiful tears over his legacy. "Livin' on the Edge" singer Tyler, 77, helped the VMAs pay tribute to Osbourne more than a year after Aerosmith announced its retirement from touring.
