Cecily opened in December 2023 at 80 Franklin Street near Oak Street in Greenpoint. The wine bar earned praise for an extensive global wine selection, seasonal creative dishes, and carefully crafted food pairings, and was featured in the 2024 Michelin Guide. The team included Kristin Ma, Tara Noble, Zach Frieling, and James Salazar, each bringing experience from notable New York restaurants. Cecily will serve its final dinner on Nov. 17, operating dinner Tuesday through Saturday with snacks and drinks on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Reservations remain available on OpenTable and walk-ins are welcome. The kitchen will close nightly at 9 p.m. due to limited staff, and rising costs and a tenuous economy contributed to the closure.
