Chef Emmanuel Palmas Lozada joins The Ritz-Carlton, Cleveland as Pastry Chef, bringing nearly two decades of international pastry experience. Born in Costa Rica and raised in Mexico, he trained in Switzerland and has held prestigious roles internationally. Most recently he served as Assistant Pastry Chef at The Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota, where he elevated the dessert program and mentored future chefs as a pastry arts instructor at UAEM in Mexico. His goal is to create desserts that guests remember—refined yet personal, with creativity and passion. He will collaborate with Executive Chef Manikandan Ramalingam to expand culinary offerings, with pastries available daily at TURN Bar + Kitchen.

He will now collaborate with Executive Chef Manikandan Ramalingam, known for enhancing the property's culinary offerings, including a wine dinner series, weekend brunch at TURN Bar + Kitchen, and the iconic Gingerbread Chalet.
