The Theatrical Curtain-Inspired Sipario Lamp Takes Center Stage
Briefly

Sipario, designed by Gupica for Fiam Italia, merges elements of theater and design by drawing inspiration from theatrical curtains. The pendant lamp was showcased at the Salone del Mobile and is currently housed in the Remo Brindisi museum. Designed by Nanda Vigo, this museum exemplifies the harmony of art and architecture, complementing Sipario's aesthetic. Gunilla Zamboni, founder of Gupica, emphasizes the importance of light and space in the design process, positioning Sipario as a striking centerpiece that embodies movement and drama, much like the curtains it emulates.
"The Remo Brindisi house has always been a great source of inspiration for me, a place to think and observe how glass behaves in relation to light, architecture and artworks."
"Nanda Vigo designed the museum working on the concept of perception through light and materials, creating a rarefied, infinite space and developing on the idea of the 'chronotype,' which was an important theme for her."
