European Union and Mercosur trade bloc announce free trade deal that's 25 years in the making

The EU-Mercosur deal is set to create one of the world’s largest free trade zones, covering over 700 million people and nearly 25% of global GDP.

Though the agreement signifies a major step forward, France and other EU countries express objections, indicating that not all member states are in agreement.
