Briefly

Patrick Lefevere, the former CEO of Soudal-QuickStep, fell ill during dinner and was taken to Gent University Hospital. While he remained conscious, he was moved to the intensive care unit and later reported to have possibly suffered from low blood pressure. Lefevere, who led the QuickStep cycling team since its inception in 2003, ended his managerial role last December after a notable 50-year career in cycling. He is now home following further examinations to monitor his condition.
Lefevere, who recently attended Omloop Het Nieuwsblad, remained conscious during the incident and was taken to the hospital's intensive care unit.
