Here's How The Ramcharger's Range-Extended EV Powertrain Works
Briefly

The Ramcharger, Ram's extended-range electric truck, features a hybrid system combining a 3.6-liter V-6 engine and an electric motor. Recently unveiled details reveal its capability of delivering 690 miles of travel. The vehicle has a 92 kWh battery, with 70 kWh usable. It includes three operational modes: Electric+ (full EV until battery depletes), E-Save (activates the engine to maintain battery charge), and Eco (optimized energy usage). While the Ramcharger performs primarily as an electric vehicle, the generator ensures continuous power and recharges the battery via external sources.
If you want a wholly EV experience, Electric+ is the mode for you. Press that button, and the engine will not turn on until the battery's usable power is depleted.
E-Save mode activates the engine at any point. You won't gain any horsepower by bringing it online, but the engine will maintain the battery's current state of charge while you drive.
