The collaboration comprises SMEG's retro FAB28 Refrigerator and an Automatic Coffee Machine, each finished in the Porsche colorway and limited to 1,970 individually numbered units. The designs borrow automotive-inspired aesthetics intended to evoke a high-powered European sports car while remaining household appliances. The pieces pair classic SMEG retro styling with Porsche signature colors for a collectible appeal. SMEG will also release additional appliances in other Porsche signature colors for those who cannot obtain the numbered Salzburg red items.
