These evocative illustrations are inspired by the people of India
Briefly

Thomas draws inspiration from the rich culture and architecture of Goa, along with the legacy of illustrator Mario Miranda, to create his colorful artwork. His pieces reflect personal memories, such as moments spent with his grandma and the vibrant life seen in local markets. Through characters like a mango seller and themes derived from Indian jewellery, Thomas infuses fantasy with traditional elements. He invites others to explore their artistic side with recommendations for digital art software and drawing tablets, encouraging creativity in the realm of character illustration.
I saw this mango seller in the local Panjim market. Her colourful outfit and traditional attire were so fun that I had to capture them.
This is a beautiful memory of when my grandma taught me and my brother to pray. She was always funny and filled with joy!
I'm fascinated by the style and culture of Indian jewellery, along with the long, traditional hairstyle of Indian women. Here I combine them with some fantasy elements.
This is a tribute to my grandma. She used to love feeding crows, so I wanted to capture that memory.
