Hardly Strictly Comedy runs as an unofficial after party downtown with comedy shows each night at The Function during the Hardly Strictly weekend. Free guestlist entry is available with RSVP; otherwise admission is $20–25 at the door. Friday and Saturday each include 7:00pm and 9:00pm stand-up showcases headlined by Pallavi Gunalan, plus a 10:00pm late-night open mic with happy hour. Sunday features The Best of HellaFunny at 7:00pm and an 8:30pm showcase with happy hour. The Function is a Black-owned comedy club located steps from Civic Center BART and Van Ness Muni, with a cozy lounge and full bar.
