The HellaFunny Olympics is a weekly comedy competition held Saturdays at 10pm at The Function, 1414 Market Street, San Francisco. San Francisco comedians face Oakland comedians in a Battle of the Bay joke-off format. Teams trade jokes until one comedian bombs and is eliminated; individuals remain while jokes land. Semifinals feature top performers facing each other. The final comic wins a championship belt for their city and a chance at residency at The Function Comedy Club. Shows run about 70+ minutes with 15+ comics. RSVP is recommended; admission is normally $10 at the door.
