Brain Cipher claims cyberattack on Olympic venue
Briefly

Nearly four weeks after a cyberattack on French national museums during the Olympic Games, the Brain Cipher ransomware group claims responsibility and threatens to leak 300 GB of stolen data.
The Brain Cipher's post on its leak blog does not reveal details about the nature of the data it allegedly stole, only stating it amounts to 300 GB.
Before the attack, RMN-GP stated there was no operational impact from the incident, suggesting that their systems were not encrypted and no data had been exfiltrated.
ANSSI, the French Cybersecurity Agency, confirmed it was alerted about the incident and continues to provide assistance to the impacted RMN-GP institutions.
