Brsk is investigating unauthorized access to a customer database after an online advert claimed 230,105 stolen records. The reportedly stolen data includes full names, email and home addresses, installation details, location data, phone numbers, and indicators of vulnerable-customer status. Brsk confirmed a database breach and stated the exposed information is limited to basic customer contact details; no financial information, passwords, or account login credentials were affected and there is currently no evidence of misuse. Affected customers have been notified and offered 12 months of Experian monitoring. Brsk engaged specialist security partners and informed the ICO, the police, and relevant regulators. Broadband services and core network operations were unaffected.
