Former Aspen Institute cybersecurity programs director Jeff Greene will be joining Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, possibly replacing Eric Goldstein.
Jeff Greene is known for his work at NSC and NIST, as well as in government and policy affairs at Symantec, having received Federal 100 honors for his governmentwide cyber policy contributions.
Eric Goldstein, the outgoing assistant director of cybersecurity at CISA, is leaving to join a private sector firm in a cyber-focused role, though his replacement by Greene is still to be confirmed.
Vivian Schiller from Aspen Institute praised Jeff Greene's leadership in cybersecurity programs, expressing regret at his departure but acknowledging his move to a critical role in serving the country.
