Qualcomm has issued 20 patches for its chipsets' firmware, including one critical vulnerability, CVE-2024-43047, that has been actively exploited, with a CVSS score of 7.8.
Google Threat Analysis Group indicates that CVE-2024-43047 may be under limited, targeted exploitation. Therefore, device manufacturers are strongly advised to deploy patches immediately.
The CVE-2024-33066 issue is critical with a CVSS score of 9.8, but it has not yet seen any known exploitation despite its severity.
Qualcomm's advisory highlighted the importance of timely firmware updates for Snapdragon 660 and newer devices to mitigate risks associated with discovered vulnerabilities.
