"The draw is definitely not the result we wanted, we didn't do what we needed to do to win," Motta said after the final whistle Tuesday night. "We want to do a lot and sometimes we don't manage to do what we have in our heads. We have to hold firm in our ideas and do better."
"Throughout the match, we should have been more balanced in the opposing half," Motta said. "On the attack, I expect more from everyone, today we could have done much better at some points while at others we did well. We must finish better, with good vocal organization and all following on the same page."
"We need to be immediately aggressive to win the ball back again and not allow them to go on the counter. It's because we attack with many players and try to flood their penalty area, we need to pin the opponent back in their half."
