The 2025 Dodgers Love L.A. Community Tour has prioritized supporting those affected by Southern California wildfires, featuring multiple events in a single day. Freddie Freeman kicked off the day at Brentwood Science Magnet School, engaging with students displaced from Palisades Elementary. Later, Shohei Ohtani and other players visited Fire Station 69 to express gratitude to first responders. The day concluded at a Pasadena Jack in the Box, where players interacted with fans while working the drive-thru. Tyler Glasnow emphasized the significance of being present in affected areas and supporting the community.
"It's a lot harder than I thought. I'm not going to lie," Miller said of the experience. "To put on the headset and be able to tell what everyone is saying, it's a pretty tough job. I had help doing it, so I wasn't all by myself."
"I think having this at a location so close to an area that's affected, it's show our face to let people know that we'll do whatever we can to help," Glasnow said.
