The Dodgers have brought Chris Woodward onboard as their new first base coach, succeeding Clayton McCullough who took the managerial job with the Marlins.
Woodward returns to the Dodgers after two seasons in player development and previously served as third base coach, earning a reputation as a strong managerial candidate.
During his four-season tenure with the Rangers, Woodward compiled a 211-287 record, ultimately leading to his departure at the end of the 2022 season.
As announced by GM Brandon Gomes, Woodward will play a significant role as a baserunning and infield instructor for the Dodgers moving forward.
