Mookie Betts was removed from the Dodgers lineup due to a toe injury sustained at home. Manager Dave Roberts mentioned that Betts stubbed his toe and would undergo an X-ray. Although initial reports suggest a fracture, no official results have been announced. Betts clarified he injured himself while navigating in the dark. His status is day-to-day, but the Dodgers do not anticipate placing him on the injured list, allowing him to potentially participate in the remaining games against the Yankees.
"I was just going to the bathroom in the dark and hit my toe on a wall," he said.
"For me, I haven't really dug in right now too much because I know it's at the tip of his toe," Roberts added. "So it's going to be one of those situations where it's per his (pain) tolerance."
