Dodgers Injury Updates: Blake Snell & Blake Treinen Expected To Start Rehab Assignments
Briefly

The Los Angeles Dodgers are experiencing improvements in their pitching staff as multiple players near their return from injuries. Tyler Glasnow is available to start next week, while Emmet Sheehan returns on Sunday. Blake Snell and Blake Treinen, who have faced hitters and made progress, are likely to begin rehab assignments soon. Snell recently completed simulated innings and used all pitches effectively in training, while Treinen also had a successful simulated inning. Both pitchers are expected back around the All-Star break in mid-July.
Blake looked good. It looked really good," Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said. "I think the plan next week is he'll probably go out on rehab.
I don't know what the with the velo was, but the ball was coming out really well," Roberts said. "He used his entire pitch mix. I thought the delivery was clean, sharp.
Blake Treinen I thought was really good as well," Roberts said. "So Blake will probably be going out at some point in time, too.
Both those guys should be ready at some point in time shortly after the All-Star break.
